HR Generalist

As an HR Generalist, you will play an important role in supporting our employees and business objectives at our growing manufacturing facility of more than 200 team members. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by partnering with employees and leaders, supporting key company programs, and helping foster a high-performing, engaged, and employee-focused culture.
This on-site role requires availability Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in Stevens Point, WI. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing guidance on HR policies.
- Administering Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely follow-up on HR related matters.
- Communicate employee benefits effectively and guide employees through benefit enrollment processes and requirements.
- Conduct new hire onboarding sessions, ensuring employees understand company policies, benefits and available resources.
- Maintain confidential personnel records with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
- Build positive working relationships across the organization while serving as a visible, approachable member of the HR team.
What You Will Contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related field; PHR or SHRM certification desired or in progress. Will consider an associate’s degree with applicable work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a Human Resources capacity.
- Experience working for a manufacturing facility desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrate high standards of diplomacy along with sound business judgement and relationship skills.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and Federal & State labor laws.
- Character traits of Integrity, Honesty, Thoroughness, Trustworthiness, and diligence are essential.

Compensation and Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $56,000 -$66,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
