Ortho Molecular Products is seeing a Senior Scientist to help oversee, manage, and develop product formulation processes to produce high quality dietary supplements consistently and efficiently.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Stevens Point, WI facility.

Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What to Expect:

• Lead the development of cutting-edge nutraceutical formulations, implementing state-of-the-art tools and methodologies (i.e., novel ingredients, delivery forms, and formulation technologies) 
• Lead and guide the advancement of product formulation processes for dietary supplements within the R&D department to ensure consistent and efficient production of high-quality products.
• Lead research and propose innovative solutions to intricate formulation challenges, collaborating closely with leadership to enhance formulation systems, processes, and equipment.
• Mentor and guide junior scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. 
• Design and oversee complex experiments, utilizing advanced methodologies/ analysis to interpret results.
• Lead regulatory interactions with formulation expertise to ensure formulations are compliant.
• Provide expert guidance in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, addressing deviations from standards and unexpected trends in product quality.
• Research and recommend solutions for complex formulation challenges and communicate to leadership on how to improve formulation systems, processes, and equipment.  

What You Will Contribute:

• Bachelor’s degree: Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry, or Microbiology preferred.
• 5 years of experience in product development (nutraceuticals preferred).
• Demonstrated expertise in projects generating results and managing relationships with external partners.

• The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
