What to Expect:
Lead and manage a high-performing business intelligence and database development team, dedicated to delivering valuable insights that support informed business decision-making across the organization. Work collaboratively with business leaders to design, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting frameworks. Develop and refine BI strategies focused on both descriptive and predictive metrics, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic and tactical objectives. Drive the creation of accurate, actionable deliverables that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions with confidence.
This position is onsite Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm. Location: Barrington, IL.
- Manage performance to achieve key business outcomes
- Define goals, set expectations, and deploy plans to improve or sustain performance
- Develop, monitor, refine, and report on key performance indicators (Process Management)
- Assign and direct work assignments including change management
- Ensure direct reports meet performance expectations, contributing to exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Provide leadership direction to teams to resolve problems and motivate staff to achieve goals
- Manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
What You Will Contribute:
- Plan projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions.
- Ensure business intelligence analysts have the tools, training, and understanding of the field to produce effective dashboards, reports, and metrics.
- Ensure business reports and dashboards are delivered accurately the first time and on time.
- Oversee overall ongoing development, maintenance, and long-term sustainability of the BI and Database environments, visualization tools, and reporting data structure.
- Audit company reports and databases to ensure data accuracy and identify data issues proactively.
- Develop/ manage standardized performance metric reporting for key business areas
- Partner with IT leadership to ensure consistent data availability, quality, and accessibility.
- Provide significant subject-matter expertise to enhance projects with insightful takeaways and perspective.
What You Will Receive:
- The salary range for this position is $136,900 - $149,500 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
