This position is onsite Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm. Location: Stevens Point, WI.

What to Expect:

• Support the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and provide training on the LIMS to the laboratory and non-laboratory teams.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Quality control teams to ensure compliance in using the LIMS.
• Evaluate and solve issues with the LIMS and engage IT/Vendor teams when necessary.
• Ensure Master Data in the LIMS is consistent with approved methods and specifications.
• Draft, revise, and assist in development of SOPs and forms for applicable laboratory procedures.
• Work with the LIMS development team to plan changes or upgrades.
• Understand lab equipment and consult with lab associates/subject matter experts to support others, evaluate and recommend modifications to the LIMS.
• Work and coordinate with vendors as they program the LIMS in response to changing requirements from the lab or the QC program.

What You Will Contribute:

• BA/BS degree in a related science field or 2-4 years’ experience in related science field required
• Basic knowledge of laboratory systems, quality systems, and Good Manufacturing Regulations
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions, emails, and other materials. Ability to write legible correspondence and verbally communicate in English.
• Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts when needed, and the ability to apply basic understanding and problem solving skills.
