What to Expect:

• Assists with key tasks in various areas of the department to learn and apply skills in accordance with company policies and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Lead and/or provide project support based on departmental needs. 

This position is onsite Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm. Location: Barrington, IL.

What You Will Contribute:

• Shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties.
• Assists with data entry and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
• Assists in ensuring all departments’ physical and electronic file systems are accurately maintained according to company policies.
• Prepares fixed asset substitution and provide to Senior Staff Accountant for review.
• Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or customers.
• Provide accounting administrative support to the organization.
• Substantiates, documents, and files various expense reports as needed.
• Assisting staff with various projects while maintaining daily production in a fast-paced environment
• Facilitates various customer refunds, credits, and PCS
