HR Generalist
What to Expect:
Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture and making a real impact? We’re looking for someone like you to join our growing team! As an HR Generalist, you’ll play a key role in supporting HR policies and objectives for a dynamic manufacturing facility with over 200 employees, fostering a high-performance, engaged, and employee-focused culture.
This on-site role requires availability Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in Stevens Point, WI. This is not a remote or hybrid opportunity.
- Assist employees in understanding and interpreting company HR policies and procedures.
- Administering Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
- Drive process improvements and ensure effective follow-up on HR matters.
- Clearly communicate employee benefits and ensure all new enrollment requirements are thoroughly explained.
- Assist in maintaining confidential personnel files with accuracy and discretion.
- Foster professional relationships with employees and actively participate as a visible and approachable member of the HR Team.
What You Will Contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Business, or related field; PHR or SHRM certification desired or in progress. Will consider an associate’s degree with applicable work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a Human Resources capacity.
- Experience working for a manufacturing facility desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrate high standards of diplomacy along with sound business judgement and relationship skills.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Solis understanding of HR best practices and Federal & State labor laws.
- Character traits of Integrity, Honesty, Thoroughness, Trustworthiness, and diligence are essential.
