We are currently seeking a Receiving Specialist to work in our Stevens Point facility. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for receiving, sampling and quarantining raw materials and components in accordance with regulatory requirements, as well as managing component inventory.  


We’re hiring for 2nd shift - Mon – Fri - 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

What you will do:

  • Transfer and movement of finished goods, labels, PK item, skids, and trays.
  • Consignment transfers and inventory movement in Navision
  • Item reclassification of moved products in Navision
  • Production order posting in Navision for all Manufacturing jobs including consumption and output
  • Audit and finish all production orders in Navision
  • Handle all PRC returns and involve the Quality department for approval
  • Remove from inventory any raw material cycle adjustments and WIP scrap from Navision
  • Labels for UL to labeled transfers
  • Review and identify shortages and other abnormalities with inventory – communicate to your supervisor for adjustment.
  • Organize inventory stock daily and receiving room; also receive labels, cycle count labels, dispose of labels
  • Provide feedback to Operations regarding availability, trends or other critical information of materials, inventory, receipts, etc.
  • Review and correct the physical inventory daily running discrepancy reports and recommending solutions to your supervisor.
  • Facilitate the warehousing and movement of materials and products within both facilities.
  • Receive and lot control raw materials and components by following the appropriate SOP’s
  • Sample raw materials and components by following the appropriate SOP’s
  • Place raw materials and components into the quarantine area after completing the appropriate documentation
  • Inform supervisor of any unforeseen circumstances that may affect the integrity of the raw materials, components or finished product
  • Pull and stage formulations for manufacturing and replace product back to the warehouse when formulation complete
  • Deliver incoming packages to departments and individuals within the OMPI facilities
  • All required PIT Power Industrial Trucks such as forklift and transfer truck training must be completed
  • Empty garbage’s and cardboard bins throughout the day on a daily basis
  • Daily cycle counting RM’s, Labels, and PK – perform end of year physical RM’s
  • Provide a clean, safe and sanitary environment for the handling of products in accordance with company policy and abiding with all safety regulations, standards and FDA/GMP compliance guidelines

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 18 years of age completed a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 2-4-year degree in Supply Chain or related science field equivalent or equivalent combination of education/training and experience desired.
  • Use of Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Navision systems desired.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, emails, SOP’s, labeling instructions and other materials required. Ability to write legible short correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.  Must effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format. 
  • Ability to add, subtract, and multiply applying mathematical concepts when needed.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
